That's our Mom on the far end of the porch in this circa 1960 photograph on Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She did a great job of raising four of us kids--me nonchantly leaning back in my t-shirt and blue jeans today retired from the National Park Service and currently a self-proclaimed lover/master of the art of book selling/clerking/shelving/displaying, my sister who works for a psychiatrist as an office supervisor, the larger baby brother, a computer expert working for Aligent, a subdiary of Hewlett Packard, and the baby who is is a doctor of opthamology. Our Mom passed away on January 17, 2005, and is buried with our Dad at Fort Douglas Military Cemetery.(see below)
Our Dad, a WWII Naval fighter, in a picture done in chalk circa the arly 1940s when he was 21 or 22. Dad passed away on November 3, 1984 at the age of 62 at the U.S. Veterans' Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is buried at the Fort Douglas Military Cemetery in SLC. Fort Douglas
